DescriptionMaturity early. Combining ability very good. Morphological and fiber characteristics similar to Delcot 277J. Maturity earlier and better adapted to environments of south Arkansas and Mississippi than Delcot 277J. Partial resistance to fusarium wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. vesinfectum) and to tobacco budworm (Heliothis virescens). Resistant to all known U.S. races of Xanthomonus campestris pv malvacearum, the casual agent of bacterial blight.
