Standardized Names of Linkage Group (of genetic maps) and Chromosome (of whole genomes) have been added in MegaSearchs' Gene, Marker, QTL searches.  These standardized names allow users to find genes/markers/QTLs that are located on the same chromosome/linkage group as well as on different genetic maps or genomes.  Below is an example of using standardized names in MegaSearch QTL:

Example: To find seed cotton yield QTLs from tetraploid genetic maps chromosome 7 (At.07).
