Description	Info. from Crop Sci. 19(2):294 (1979) -- early maturing, high fiber yield, good fiber length and yarn strength. Adapted N. central fringes of Cotton Belt on medium and light textured soils. Comparative data available for tolerance to seed coat cracking, lint yield, seedling vigor and other general characteristics. Outstanding feature is resistance to Verticillium wilt (incited by Verticillium albo-atrum) and Fusarium wilt (incited by Fusarium oxysporum). Cultivated.
