DescriptionEarly maturing American Pima cotton that expresses the okra-leaf and nectariless traits. The okra-leaf trait has been demonstrated to confer earlier plant maturity and a partial resistance to the silverleaf whitefly (Bemisia tabaci). The nectariless trait confers partial resistance to the pink bollworm (Pectinophora gossypiella). Fiber length of 33.5 mm, a strength of 31.5 g tex-1, and a micronaire of 4.2, when measured on single instruments. Produces 44% of total yield 162 days after planting, or 18% more than its recurrent PS-6 parent
