NCBI Cotton Data

Genbank format files were downloaded from NCBI using in-house software Tripal Genbank Parser. The records were downloaded until the date of Jun 16 2021 which resulted in 4,425 genes, 7,808 mRNA, and 7,767 proteins being parsed from the downloaded files. The results were made searchable on the CottonGen gene search page.
